HM Treasury Fiscal Event – Spending Review

Challenge

The APS Group produce a number of large Government documents per year. A requirement of these documents is that a digital version is created at the same time as a print version. This code needs to be produced accurately and quickly.

Solution

Using the original InDesign files APS Agency Digital created a script that takes the standard InDesign HTML conversion and converts this into the specific .gov markdown format that is required to push content via Whitehall Publisher. This automated scripting saves valuable hours in a high-pressure, time-limited working environment.
