Assisting with HMRT’s infected bloods inquiry

Challenge

The Cabinet Office came to us for assistance in publishing their official reports around the Infected Bloody Inquiry – handling highly sensitive content.

Our challenge was to support proofreading and editing large amounts of data, fast, working in close collaboration with paralegals, legal servants and communications professionals.

 

Solution

We set about creating a clear consistent house style for HMRT’s printed publications. Our proofreaders, copywriters and artworkers were then able to proof, edit and typeset everything, without the risk of errors in such a sensitive report.

We also supported digitising the large reams of content, with a focus on acccessibility – creating HTML compliant to Govspeak markdown and other alternative formats.
