Putting a stop to picking up a gun

The Challenge

Our creative teams were tasked with concepting, scripting, editing and animating a short film and supporting static assets for a national firearms prevention campaign. The video would be used for no-cost and in paid-for social media, raising awareness about firearm legislation in the UK and encouraging people to stop breaking the law and putting themselves at risk by bringing dangerous weapons into the country.

The Solution

The campaign needed to communicate a serious topic to a young audience, with a strong visual identity. Our approach was to use striking graphical elements combined with a sincere, relatable voiceover that would resonate with viewers. We produced the main campaign script and video, an operational video, cut downs for social media, posters and banners – all of which went on to win a prestigious government award.
